| Guevera Yao Guevera Yao, originally from Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), holds a Masters degree in Economics (2003), and is a PHD graduate in Economics at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, Georgia State University. Prior to his graduate studies at GSU he has been working as a research assistant to the officer in charge of developing and managing Poverty Alleviation, Public Education and Public Healthcare oriented programs in Africa, at the Operation Evaluation (OPEV), the African Development Bank, a multinational bank group. His research interest include public finance, development economics and modeling. His dissertation topic focuses on fiscal decentralization and poverty alleviation outcomes in developing countries.
