Dr. Christine P. Ries is a Professor of Economics at the Georgia Insitute of Technology in Atlanta and a Senior Associate/Affiliated Research Faculty of the International Studies Program at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies.

Dr. Ries received her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago. Her research interests are international trade and investment policy, and foreign exchange and its management. She was most recently a professor at the Claremont Graduate School. She joined the School of Economics at the Georgia Insitute of Technology in July 1997.
