Mr. Manoj Shrestha , will be a visiting scholar with the Andrew Young School at GSU from February 15 through March 28, 2002. Mr. Shresta -an Under-Secretary with the Ministry of Local Development in Nepal- will visit the School as part of the Humphrey Fellowship Program, dividing his time between the Andrew Young School and the Daniel J. Evans School of Pulic Affairs at University of Washington in Seattle. The Humphrey Fellowship is funded by the US Department of State, and managed by the Institute of International Education (IIE). Mr. Shrestha will be engaged in research on fiscal decentralization issues relevant to Nepal, collaborate with AYSPS faculty, as well as possibly giving several lectures.
