Benno Torgler is a visiting scholar at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University from September 2003 to August 2004. Dr. Torgler received his doctorate in economics from the University of Basel in July 2003 (summa cum laude). In 2000-2003, he was book review editor of the economic journal KYKLOS. He has authored scholarly articles on tax morale, tax compliance and non-market economics and is research fellow at the Center for Research in Economics, Management and the Arts in Switzerland.
