Yousif M. A Bashir El Tahir was a visiting scholar from Sudan from January to April 2007.

Yousif received an MSc degree in Economics from Khartoum University, Sudan. He has worked for the Government of Sudan in the Ministry of Finance and National Economy for over 8 years.During his career, he has worked with various international agencies including the World Bank and the IMF and the African Development Bank.
